HERMAN VAN VUGHT
Our General Manager and Production Manager is a machinist by trade, who has over 40 years experience in engineering, machining, and CAD design. Having worked for well known companies such as Christensen, Boart Longyear, and Hardcore, before starting DIATOOL.
TONY GRAHAM
Tony is a geological engineer by profession, but switched to diamond bit manufacturing in 1971, having worked for the Huddy group of companies before Hobic was formed in 1986. Subsequently, Hobic was purchased by the Atlas Copco group, and with other partners, later started DIATOOL. He now focuses on marketing and technical inquiries.
ALBERT PANG
Albert, another founding member of DIATOOL, is a mechanical engineer who, in the mid 1990’s became involved in marketing Hobic products throughout Asia.

Our other two valued partners are a mechanical engineer and a civil engineer who together have more than 45 years working in manufacturing and marketing for Boart Longyear, Atlas Copco, Hardcore, and Hobic.

The personnel at DIATOOL have experience in the mining and mineral exploration industry going back to the 1970s. Their experience in designing, engineering, and manufacturing, has placed DIATOOL at the forefront of diamond drill bit technology.
Using sophisticated, proprietary furnacing techniques, and experts in powder metallurgy, DIATOOL is able to manufacture a broad range of matrices to achieve the best possible bonds for everyday drilling demands.
